Our first week as a start up and development team.Welcome to our journal…🤔

We are creating a web-based CRM software for business growth and tracking customer information, sales history, and support requests.

How did all of this start? Well, I would love to say it all started great, but, as you would soon find, that wasn’t the case.

Let’s start from the beningin🥹 shall we?

It all started when over 20 strangers with creative abilities from all over the world were tasked with creating a CRM software from scratch.

We thought it was a joke at first, until Drey – the Side Hustle Bootcamp manager – showed us what to expect at the onboarding meeting. At that point, it was too late to shout

“Morife don’t run, Morife don’t run”. SHIT just go real, and we… well, we were in deep soup.

Then came the deliverables for the week; we needed to submit what we had achieved that week. A simple task right? Lol. I laugh “it is finished”.

The first two days were a blur. We were all nervous; and who could blame us? We were individuals from different backgrounds and societies coming together to work on a project that looked impossible at the time.

Can you really blame us for having a not-so-brief, 2-day-long panic attack?

Anyway, our panic didn’t last forever (thankfully!), and on the third day, the Product Design and Product Management track took the mantle and ran with it. Then, like clockwork, Digital Marketing, Data Analysis, Frontend, Backend Dev, Customer Relationship Management, Graphics and Animation tracks followed suit. Somehow we were making progress. It was a miracle!

Now you think we’re good to go, right?

LOL. Wrong!!!

Yes, we had everything we needed. (Okay, let's not tell lies 🙄. We had ALMOST everything we needed. We’re just missing the expertise to out it all together.) So, yeah, we’ve made some progress with getting things ready, but putting it all together seemed to be the difficult part.

Pheew, this week has been so crazy and stressful, and I hear this is not even the week you start losing sleep “Mo gbe! 🙆‍♀️"

We still haven’t figured it all out and we still have to go to work from Mondays through Fridays. We also still have a presentation to prepare for, but one thing is clear: we have gotten closer and we are helping each other out despite the tracks. Wish us luck and join us on our journey as we prepare for our presentation. Maybe it’d be an interesting one, or maybe not.

Who Knows…🧐.
